decrypt --files-folder <dir> writes decrypted media to <dir>/<YYYY-MM>/<name> (the folder *is* the media root, no files/ tier) instead of <output-dir>/files/; requires --with-files. It merges: an exactly-named existing file is never rewritten or touched (identical bytes count as existing; differing bytes warn and keep the existing file), so several backups of one account can share one media root. decrypt_media_reference now returns MediaDecryptResult(outcome, media) with outcomes written/existing/existing-mismatch. encrypt --files-folder <dir> reads plaintext media from that media root (store destination stays <output-dir>/files/); requires --with-files. Decrypt and encrypt roundtrip through one shared folder exactly. Chat summary artifacts now reference media root-relatively: <YYYY-MM>/<mediaName>[.<ext>] without the files/ prefix, always, so consumers resolve paths against the media root they chose. |
